MacRitichie Learning Journey

Our group have went to the MacRitichie Reservoir and observed the wonderful plants like Simlax.There are some examples of plants that can competes with the other plants.

Firstly, introducing Smila setosa(Bearded Smilax)that smothers tree crown,depriving host tree of sunlight and nutrients; rhizomes not remove and will continue to grow.

Next,it is Dicranopteris linearires(Resam).It dominate degraded sites in the reserves as thickets, which prevent the natural succession by preventing the etablishment of other species.

Finally, it is the Clidemia hirta(Hairy Clidemia)It is dispersed effectively by birds.

I think it should have a rules to SHUT UP and it means keep quiet.....................

I love blogging but it is better to write with hand
